To wrap up the school year, our 6th-grade students recently completed a comprehensive independent research project. Each student selected a specific branch of science to investigate, including fields like botany, genetics, zoology, or astronomy. Using both online databases and library books, students worked closely with the school librarian to hone their research and citation skills. The project concluded during the final week of school with an interactive gallery walk, allowing students to present their final posters and engage in peer-to-peer learning.
