Culminating three years of Engineering and Design, our 8th-grade students put their STEM skills to the ultimate test. Their challenge? Design, plan, and build a fully functional prototype of a purposeful gadget. Utilizing Arduino technology, students seamlessly integrated light, sound, and motion into their designs while keeping the complex wiring and components completely hidden. From concept sketches to the final on/off switch, these brilliant young engineers brought their ideas to life!

Handmade cardboard projects are displayed below a sign for 8th grade culminating E&D projects about creating gadgets with lights, sounds, and movement.
Student-made cardboard and paper projects, including a green tree, a trophy display, a yellow vehicle, and a small box, are displayed on a table.
