Sixth-grade scientists investigated how light behaves when it passes through or bounces off different materials. Using glass, a one-way mirror, and a traditional mirror, students collected data on light transmission and reflection. They analyzed their results to answer the guiding question: “How does the type of material affect how much light is transmitted and reflected?”
