Congratulations to the CMS Science Olympiad Club! CMS placed 4th overall, won 1st place in 4 events (Disease Detectives, Optics, Reach for the Stars, and Write it Do it!), won 2nd place in 3 events, and won 3rd place in 5 events. Shout out to our committed students and Mrs. Brewer, a first-year teacher at CMS, for being an advisor and taking this on! Next stop - States!

CMS students and staff organized food drives and collected donations to give to local charities. During the annual Giving Assembly on November 22, representatives came in to receive the funds. It was a beautiful assembly!

Some fun things happened this month at CMS! Grade 6 students worked on collaborative problem solving and team-building skills on a field trip to Calf Pasture Beach. And grade 8 Tiger Team teachers dressed up as the characters in a book students are reading - The Outsiders!
