Known for their award-winning vaudeville-inspired performances and physical comedy, Chris and Paul brought their unique energy and expertise to our students. Participants explored character development, improv and sketch techniques, physicality in performance, and the power of silence and stage presence. Through engaging, hands-on activities, students were encouraged to take creative risks and build confidence.
To conclude their Civil Rights Unit—focused on the U.S. justice system and the pursuit of social change—8th grade CMS students participated in a mock trial experience. They examined the landmark case New York Times v. Sullivan, debating whether the Supreme Court’s ruling should be upheld or overturned.
